Glaswegians are people from Glasgow
It was pretty rainy when I was in Glasgow so I didn't have the camera out too much. It had been a while since I had been to a concert so I went to a gig. While there I met some guys who like a lot of RVA metal bands. I didn't realize our scene was so well known. Too bad I don't really like metal and couldn't hold up my end of the that part of the conversation. It was still fun talking to them and hanging out. The hostel I stayed at had two buildings, one of which was across the street. I stayed in the across the street building. My first night there there was a group of people in it as well. The rest of the nights I was the only person in it :( A little lonely and a little creepy. Even though Glasgow is the biggest city in Scotland I felt like there wasn't as much to do culturally as there was in Edinburgh. There was, however, lots of opportunity to party on the cheap in Glasgow. The art museums were housed in big buildings, but they seemed so much smaller on the inside. In all the cathedrals and churches I've been to they all have memorials to soldiers who died in wars. Well up to WW2, I can't recall anything after that. Behind the 900 year old Glasgow Cathedral sits the Necropolis. It's an enormous Victorian cemetery that has a nice view of the city from the top. The city's well to do were buried here, it's along the lines of Hollywood Cemetery in RVA.
