The boy who would not grow up

London. Characteristically gloomy skies and a bank holiday. I called a couple of places in Greenwich and nobody answered. I assumed they were still closed. So I traveled to Soho in search of some record shops. Winding my way down narrow Berwick street I found what I came for. Vinyl gold. There were about a half dozen record shops, half of which were closed, I'm assuming for the holiday. While digging around I found an artist from RVA, Tim Barry, I was pleased as pie. After record hunting I decided to just hop on the tube and get off at a random stop. I'm convinced it's impossible to not just stumble over something cool or historic in this city. I came up out of the station and across the street was a lush green park called Kensington Gardens. I explored its manicured lawns and ancient trees and found a Peter Pan tribute. Pleased as pie once again I left the park and started roaming the streets when I happened upon the Natural History Museum. Just like the Tate Modern I was part way through when closing time struck. It's an enormous museum. The architecture is astounding as well.  I was expecting to bump into Indiana Jones.
